Meshes

igds_type: igds_mesh

Currently supported for V8 reading only.

Meshes in a design file are 3D elements made up of one or more faces defined by three or more points each. 3D solids and surfaces can be converted to a mesh in Microstation.

Mesh elements can have textures associated with them that can either be assigned from a default set that comes installed with Microstation, or defined from a custom image. FME can read both types of texture assignments, but Microstation CONNECT edition or Microstation V8i edition (SELECT series) must be installed in order to read default textures. No installation is required for custom textures.
