Foursquare Studio Data: Add Web Connection
Foursquare Studio Data Authentication
Using the Foursquare Studio Data Reader/Writer requires a Foursquare Studio Web Connection. Using this format always requires authenticated access.
Note Foursquare Studio API tokens are only available for Enterprise-level accounts.
Foursquare Studio Web Connections require the refresh token for your Foursquare Studio account.
- To retrieve your refresh token, visit https://studio.foursquare.com/tokens.html.
Note Once a refresh token has been used to generate an Foursquare Studio Web Connection, it will no longer be valid. The web connection will exchange refresh tokens approximately once every 24 hours.
To define a new connection from the Unfolded Connection parameter:
- Select Add Web Connection. See database-specific parameters below, as well as the section To Use a Web Connection in a Workspace in Using Web Connections. The new connection can be made visible only to the current user, or can be shared among multiple users.
Note To select an existing, previously defined connection, see the section Reusing a Web Connection in Using Web Connections
